Dream Interpretation of Bathing

Hazrat Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) said that if someone sees in a dream that he is bathing in a river, it means his sorrow and grief will be removed. If he is sick, he will recover and regain his health. If he is in debt, he will be freed from it. If he is afraid, he will find peace and safety. And if he is imprisoned, he will be released.

If someone sees that he is washing himself in a small amount of water and cleaning his hands and face, it means he will gain benefit and goodness. But if he sees that he is washing his hands with soap or earth (clay), it means if he has friends, he will soon be separated from them.

If he sees that he is performing a ritual bath (ghusl) due to impurity (janabat), it indicates that his problems and difficulties will come to an end.

Hazrat Jabir Maghrabi (may Allah have mercy on him) said that performing ghusl after impurity in a dream means being purified from lies and falsehood. However, if there is any excess or defect seen during the bath, it indicates corruption or deviation in one’s faith.

خواب میں غسل کرنے کی تعبیر

حضرت ابن سیرین رحمتہ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے ۔ اگر کوئی خواب میں دیکھے کہ اس نے دریا میں غسل کیا ہے ۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کا غم و اندوہ کم ہو گا ۔ اور اگر بیمار ہے تو صغت اور شفا ء پائے گا اور اگر قوض دار ہے تو قرض سے سر خرو ہو گا ۔اور خوف سے امن میں رہے گا اور اگر قیدی ہے تو خلاصی پائے گا ۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ تھوڑے پانی میں غسل کیا ہے اور ہاتھ منہ دھویا ہے ۔ دلیل ہے کہ خیرو منفعت پائے گا ۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ ہاتھ کو پانی اور سجی سے دھویا ہے ۔ اگر دوست رکھتا ہے ۔ تو اس کی ان سے جدا ہونے پر دلیل ہے ۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس نے غسل جنابت کیا ہے ۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کا کام ختم ہو گیا ہے ۔ حضرت جابر مغربی رحمتہ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے ۔ کہ خواب میں جنابت سے غسل کرنا دلیل ہے کہ جھوٹ سے پاک ہو گا اور جو زیادتی اور نقصان جنابت کے غسل سے ظاہر ہو گا جھوٹے دین پر دلیل ہے ۔
